In the small village of Thil in the municipality of Courcy and Hermonville, in the Marne department in the Grand Est region, on the peaceful hills of of the Saint-Thierry Massif and just a stone’s throw from the basilica of the same name dedicated to Saint Theodoric, the industrious brothers Cyril and Fabien Jonot, the “alchemist du terroir”.
Not just any terroir, but the northernmost terroir in Champagne.. This is where Jonot Frères Champagne comes to life.
Since 2020, the two brothers have been working side by side to carry on a legacy that has beenhanded down through six generations of winemakers.
Here, nature expresses itself at its best to create unique cuvées, all expertly blended.
There isno room for baroque interpretations here; what reigns supreme is the most authenticexpressionof champagne immersed in solid“zero steel” tanks: ‘acciaio zero’: “nous sommes français l’inox c’est allemande!”.
