In Borrégió, along the shores of the Hungarian Sea

The Borrégió—one of Hungary’s six wine regions—takes its name from Lake Balaton, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe at 591 km².

As early as the first century AD, Celts and Romans were cultivating vines here, particularly along the northern shore—where Boko Pince is located. Thanks to its sheltered position and generous sunlight, it has always been an ideal area for viticulture.
And it’s not just the climate. The soil here is remarkable too—a blend of volcanic sand made of basalt and tuff, with layers of sandstone and marl—perfect for producing outstanding reds and whites.

In questa specie di miracolo geologico Annett e David Bökő, producono il loro vino sulle orme di Papà János, per anni collaboratore delle più importanti e rinomate cantine della zona.

In this kind of geological miracle, Annett and David Bökő craft their wines in the footsteps of Papa János, who worked for years with some of the region’s most prestigious wineries.

Welschriesling, Zweigelt, and Blaufränkisch—delicate, aromatic, profound, and seemingly endless.

Annett, David, why are your wines “zero-intervention”?
“Why? Because before we sell our wines, we drink them.”

And just like that—magic.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row thb_divider_position=”bottom”][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text]
